Now this is a nice collectible black beauty - purchased from my friends at www.videogameimports.com - this is a rare and quite expensive model. This was never released in the UK 

This can sell in the region of £250 for a good one - the logos on the console and controller tend to come off easily so i'm quite happy with my one as all looks pretty good.

WHAT IS A REGULATION 7? 

Good question, When i first started looking into these i wasn't too sure myself so here is the lowdown - The R7 model ("Regulation#7", referring to the regulation seven in the Japanese penal code pertaining to businesses affecting public morals) consisted of a special refurbished Dreamcast unit that was originally used as a network console in Japanese pachinko parlors

To be honest, this is no different from your normal Dreamcast, it works the same and has all the same insides - but just looks good!

Oh yes, requires a step-down transformer this one!
